Perfectly Crispy Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Ingredients

  • Seeds from one pumpkin
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil per cup of seeds
  • Fair Trade seasonings to taste

Instructions

  • Rinse your pumpkin seeds thoroughly in a strainer.
  • Lay the pumpkin seeds out on a roasting pan and dry thoroughly with a towel. For best results, let seeds sit overnight to dry completely (this will give your seeds the best crunch!)
  • Once seeds are dried, pour into a bowl and mix with olive oil and seasonings of your choice. I prefer a few pinches of salt, garlic powder, and cayenne.
  • Spread seasoned seeds onto a single layer on a baking sheet, making sure they are not stacked on top of each other too much.
  • Bake at 325°F for 15-20 minutes. Stir half-way to avoid burning.
